The Airman's Attic is a free, volunteer-run store on military bases that provides donated clothing, household goods, and uniforms to service members and their families.
Who Can Use It
- Eligibility: Most locations serve junior enlisted personnel (typically grades E-1 through E-5 or E-6) and their dependents.
- Uniform Access: Active-duty members of any rank can often visit at any time to pick up necessary military uniforms.
- Cost: All items provided by The Attic are completely free.
What You Can Find
- Uniforms: Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP) tops and pants, physical training (PT) gear, boots, and dress blues.
- Household Goods: Kitchenware, cookware, small appliances, and furniture.
- Personal Items: Civilian clothing, children's toys, books, and baby gear.
How It Works
- Donations: The shop relies entirely on community donations. People moving away (during a Permanent Change of Station) or retiring often donate gently used items.
- Mission: It helps reduce financial stress for young military families and ensures everyone has the gear they need
