We'd like to take a moment to thank all of our donors and volunteers who helped us fulfill many requests for assistance in the last couple of months. Needs included:

  • Recently assisted a Veteran and his family with a fuel card and with groceries.
  • Assisted with a house payment.
  • We contracted with Gen Haug for 6 month lawn service for a deployed active soldier.

Our Sincere Condolences

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our cherished, long-time member, Curt Martinson. Curt dedicated himself to numerous initiatives, including food distribution for Veterans and families of deployed service members, Brat Sales, and serving at our Appreciation Dinners, among many other contributions. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife, Laura, and their family.

May Military Appreciation Dinner

Join us for a delicious dinner of burgers, chips, and pasta salad.

Dinners are held at the American Legion in Apple Valley. Located at 14521 Granada. All are welcome.

If you plan to attend the Military Appreciation Dinner on June 19, please RSVP the total number in your group by FRIDAY, June 13. Due to limited seating, calls after this date will not be honored. To RSVP, call 952-923-5014 or email yellowribbonav@gmail.com.

We are dedicated to supporting our military service members, veterans, and their families by fostering strong community connections and providing essential resources. Our mission thrives on the commitment of volunteers like you who share our passion for making a difference. We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help with:

  • Organizing community events and fundraisers 
  • Coordinating support services for military families 
  • Assisting with outreach and awareness campaigns 
  • Providing administrative or logistical support 

No prior experience is required—just a willingness to serve those who have served our country. Whether you can commit a few hours a month or take on a more active role, your time and skills will have a lasting impact.
